Seek and Rescue Drone Footage of Zebra Featured on King 5 News

On May 2, Seek and Rescue Executive Director Stephanie Seek reached out to a local group of Snoqualmie Valley residents, all with experience in animal rescue, who had been working together to search, track, and monitor the zebra’s whereabouts and behavior, with an ultimate goal to humanely rescue the zebra and return it to its owner.

Seek and Rescue crew arrived at 6:50 pm on May 3 at a property near where the zebra was last spotted and where the local independent group was stationed. Less than five minutes into the search, our crew located the missing zebra via thermal imaging. However, an unaffiliated group was already on site and appeared to be attempting a recovery effort. The crew then witnessed events unfold over about three and a half hours via the live video being recorded by our drone, from a safe distance away from the zebra and the recovery efforts.
